Well, Hello!

It's been a long time, hasn't it? This design is for my friend's blog, Food for Thought, and this is the first test run. Thoughts?

Current Theme: Rustic Pink and Black

Thanks to Summer Driggs from Summertime Designs, I used parts of her Bubblegum and Licorice Kit to create the current theme here, Rustic Pink and Black. All of Summer's digital scrapbooking kits are free, and I would highly recommend you go and take a look as they are amazing.

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful kit, Summer! And if anyone would like me to send them the resized header (I only resized it, no other changes were made) and the compressed file for the background, feel free to email me.

Current Theme: Rainbownotes Theme

The current theme on this blog is called Rainbownotes Theme. It's for my friend, Rainbownote (check out her Deviant Art page here). This theme is a simple, minimalistic theme mainly designed for art blogs. Rainbownotes Theme is held exclusive for my friend's blog only, but I will be able to make a similar theme, possibly with a different colour scheme, for other art blogs. You will have to provide your own picture(s) for the header.

What am I up to? is a weekly update that I'll be hosting here, basically, it's outlining my journey in blog design ;) (I've only just started!)

So this week, I plan to:

• finish off my custom blog design--Butterflies in Lilac
• make a set of social media icons to match the theme
• make a set of banners for page buttons
